Reset for success after a long year

September Reset

It has been such a long year. Have you found yourself wondering how you can reset for success? It’s September, I can hardly believe it… 2020 has surely tested my faith. If you are subscribed to my newsletter, then this blog post will seem a bit familiar. I hope you’ve had some time to hit reset and pause to focus on how you plan to make the most of the rest of the year. As long as this year has been; there have been a number of days that I feel like giving up. Then, I remember – I can’t do that. I can’t do that because future generations are depending on me to do the work.

I was devastated when I found out that the world had lost Chadwick Boseman. His passing made me realize that we have to hold the ones we love close to us and use our limited time here on this earth to discover our purpose. I don’t know what secret battles you may be facing however, don’t give up. You have a beautiful purpose and believe it or not someone you don’t even know is waiting for you to do the work.

“I don’t know what your future is, but if you are willing to take the harder way, the more complicated one, the one with more failures at first than successes, the one that’s ultimately proven to have more victory, more glory, then you will not regret it. This is your time.”

– Chadwick Boseman

Take some time this week to ask yourself these questions:

  1. Where do you want to be 5 months from now?
  2. How can you start working today to get there?
  3. What is really holding you back?
  4. Are you projecting negative beliefs?
  5. Are you really ready to go where you say you want to go?

Tips for getting back on track

When performing a reset for success it can be as simple as writing down a list of all the things the successful you will be doing. Then start doing them, little by little. For instance, if the successful you reads every night and wakes up early then that is exactly what you need to start doing. It’s about building better habits. The successful you will likely go to bed early in order to make acheiving those small goals more attainable.

– Do things you’ve never done to get results you’ve never seen

– Keep the promises you make to yourself

– Move forward with confidence trusting your growth process

I think you are going to love the person you’re turning into.

If you are following money multiplied on Instagram, then you know that my goals include saving and staying active. I have no idea what the world is going to throw at me next. Though I believe taking some time to sit with myself and reflecting on who I want to be is absolutely necessary.
